Special Webpage for the Third Annual Conference

From May 18th to 19th 2013, the Second Annual Conference of Taihu Cultural Forum, themed as “Strengthening International Cooperation, Promoting Ecological Conservation”, was successfully held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. Yu Zhengsheng, Member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of CPC Central Committee and Chairman of CPPCC attended the opening ceremony and delivered speech. Armando Emilio Guebuza, President of Mozambique,Dame Louise Lake-Tack, Governor of Antigua and Barbuda，Antonis Samaras, Prime Minister of Greece, Ruud Lubbers, Former Prime Minister of Holland, Ms. Zhang Meiying, Deputy Chairwoman of the 11th CPPCC and Mr. Xia Baolong, Party Secretary of Zhejiang Province Party Committee attended the opening ceremony and delivered speech. Around 500 participants including politicians, cultural officials, natural scientists, social scientists and media persons from 23 countries and regions around the world attended the Second Annual Conference of Taihu Cultural Forum.
